Suzanne and I stayed with her aunt Esther and Uncle Peter and their twins Alaina and Ryan. The kids were really really cute, and we had a lot of fun playing with them. As long as they werent throwing fits anyways. All in all it was a very relaxing visit, with some really crazy nights in between. A good balance I think; it'd be really nice to go back again some day, and I am looking forward to Zan's aunt and uncle's visit with the kids this summer to AK.

After Haven left, Suzanne and I went back into Nurnberg to check out the castle. It's a bit of a walk from the city center, but worth it once you get there. This is from the top looking down into the city.
This photo is part of the outer side of the castle. It was really cool becuase the sun was sort of coming down, and it was causing the castle look darker and the sky to look really bright. Great photo-op.

From one of the view points at the castle. This is what Nurnberg looks like; it looks about as warm as it was...

Me, looking over the edge of the wall...

Haven was on her way to Vienna and stayed two nights with Zan and I in Germany. She had lived there for a while, so she was able to take us into the city and show us some of the best spots. Downtown is pretty, and you can see the places that were bombed in the war. It gives it a sort of depressing feeling; but all in all I really enjoyed it.

Again I think that I am behind on this page, so here's a lot of new stuff to see! Suzanne came to visit me from her Africa adventure; she was here for a week in Aix, and then she and I went to Germany to visit her family and look around. It was a good time indeed. Germany is beautiful; we were in Nurnberg and Eckental (not sure about the spelling there), we also spent a night in a very fancy hotel in Frankfurt when it was time for us to go our seperate ways. It was quite a nice evening; they had a wellness room on the 7th floor, and Zan and I felt pretty well by the time we left the next morning for the airport!!
